The Writing Center will continue to support students with all writing needs by offering online writing support to all CUA students for the remainder of the semester. A detailed explanation of how to request an online appointment can be found here.
Free electronic access to Norton textbooks
Students using Norton textbooks (anthologies, critical editions, etc.) can now receive free e-book access to their books for the rest of the term.
Students need to submit a support ticket request on their help desk website using their school email. List the book(s) needed and explain that access is needed due to COVID-19 school closure.
New Undergraduate Research Award
The University Libraries have instituted a Libraries Undergraduate Research Award.Cash prizes will be awarded.
Selections to be based upon:
- the strength of the student’s use of information resources, research strategies, and ability to find and evaluate information.
- the demonstration of creative thinking skills, as well as originality and sophistication in the use of library collections.
- the clear and effective communication of ideas that includes the correct citation and formatting of sources, quotations, facts, and data.
