Pennyworth Publishing started as a creative endeavor for Grace Russo, who imagined a series of classic poems in stand-alone books with full color illustrations. Thus was born her edition of The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. She has since expanded her vision to embrace and support local story telling, empowering people to become authors for their own families and communities in an age of mass media and AI generated entertainment.
Who Do You Think I Am?, Veronica Simon's children's story, originally began as an assignment from Dr. Okuma's Memoir class her senior year. Veronica discovered she was uncomfortable writing about herself in the first-person, so she crafted a children's story as she wrestled with questions on identity, objective truth, and growing up. She liked the story when it was finished, and kept it in her back pocket. Now six years later, she is excited to see her book come alive in the world through Pennyworth Publishing!
