From the Director of the Writing Center
Dear Catholic U. Undergraduates,
The Writing Center is currently looking for outstanding student leaders who love writing and enjoy helping their peers. If that's you, consider applying for the Writing Center Undergraduate Tutor Program.
In addition to engaging in one-on-one instruction with fellow students, Writing Center Undergraduate Tutors receive training and research mentorship in an exclusive seminar, ENG 328: Writing Center Theory and Practice, as well as faculty guidance in preparing to present their work at international and national conferences. For more information about the program and application process, please visit the info page on the Writing Center website.
In order to apply to become a Writing Center Undergraduate Tutor, you must first be nominated by a professor who is familiar with your writing and interpersonal skills. We invite you to ask a faculty member to nominate you using the online form by Friday, February 15th.
For more information about the program and/or application process, please consult the Tutor Program info page on the Writing Center website or contact Dr. Kevin Rulo (rulo@cua.edu).
