After a successful return last summer, the Irish Summer Institute at Catholic University is now accepting applications for its new summer session in 2023.

The program will run from May 22nd until July 1st. It is open to all enrolled students at Catholic University, both undergraduate and graduate. While abroad, enrolled students travel together, and are taught by Catholic University professors, on site in Dublin and in Cork, Ireland, in credit-bearing classes. More information on how to apply to the program (including a tentative syllabi of activities) can be found at this link at CUAbroad.

A number of very generous financial awards have been made available especially to Catholic University students applying for this program. Any student interested in studying in Ireland in Summer 2023 is encouraged to apply for support from the Twohig-Sullivan Family Fund for Irish Studies at this link. The deadline for applications is March 1st 2023.

Those with questions about the Irish Summer Institute, or about applications for financial support, are strongly encouraged to reach out to Dr. Gregory Baker at bakerg@cua.edu.
