The Irish Summer Institute at Catholic University is now accepting applications for its new summer session in 2026.
This year's program will run from May 27th through July 2nd. It is open to all enrolled students in good standing at Catholic University. While abroad, enrolled students travel together, and are taught by Catholic University professors, Dr. Patrick Tuite and Dr. Gregory Baker, on site in Dublin and elsewhere throughout Ireland, in credit-bearing classes.
More information on how to apply to the program (including course syllabi and a preliminary itinerary of activities) can be found at this
link on the CUAbroad website.
A number of generous financial awards have also been made available to Catholic University students applying for this program. Those interested are encouraged to apply for support from the Twohig-Sullivan Family Fund for Irish Studies as part of their application. No separate application is required.
The deadline to apply to the 2026 Irish Summer Institute is March 1st, 2026.
Those with questions are encouraged to reach out to Dr. Gregory Baker at
