English Society is eager to welcome students back to campus and resume monthly book discussions and other informal events - please join us and bring your friends who love books - all are welcome!

Afternoon Tea

Bring your own mug or teacup and join English majors/minors and faculty bi-weekly for coffee, tea, and informal conversation. Our September Afternoon Teas will be held in the Marist Annex Conference Room on Wednesday, September 8th and 22nd from 1-2pm.  

September Book Discussion: Translations

Monthly book discussions are a long-standing tradition for English Society and are open to all members of the CUA community, as well as undergraduate and graduate alumni.  

Monday, September 20th, 8-9pm in Pryz 351: Brian Friel's Translations
Translations is on the undergraduate comprehensive exam reading list. Dr. Baker will be joining us for the discussion.
