Dr. Daniel Gibbons was invited to present a paper at the Sixteenth Century Society's annual conference in Baltimore, MD, in October 2023, titled "Ethical Nonbeing in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet".
Dr. Ernest Suarez's edition of "A Scrap in the Blessings Jar: New and Selected Poems" (Louisiana State University Press) by David Bottoms was published on October 4, 2023. On October 7, 2023 he gave a talk about the volume at the Georgia Tech University. A Scrap in the Blessings Jar (lsupress.org)
Dr. Ernest Suarez and Justin Mitchell moderated a seminar, "Rethinking Cold War Literary Culture," on October 14, 2023 at the annual conference of the Assocation of Literary Scholars, Critics, and Writers annual conference at the University of Houston.
Sister Lucia Treanor, FSE gave a presentation in September entitled "Truth in Three Medieval Texts: De consolatione philosophiae, Tria sunt, and Boece" at the Conference "Truth in Public and Private Life," The Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.
