News, Publications, and Presentations
In June 2023, Dr. Megan Murton presented a paper entitled “Consolation in Translation: Walton’s Boethius and the Boke of Coumfort” at the Symposium for Medieval and Renaissance Studies in St. Louis, Missouri. This work was supported by the Interdisciplinary Research Fellowship she received from the School of Arts & Sciences in 2022.
In July 2023, Dr. Lilla Kopár was invited to present a paper titled “From Props to Actors: Early Medieval Speaking Objects” at the 6th international conference on Eastern & Western Traditions of European Iconology at the University of Szeged in Hungary.
Rachel Daly (PhD student) attended the Institute for Human Ecology's seminar "Eternal Beauty: Principles and Disputations" June 20–27 at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, Italy.
