Join the Staff and Upcoming Events

Vermilion is pleased to announce a host of events and opportunities in April. The comprehensive list of all the important dates and happenings can be found below, but we would like to take this opportunity to personally invite all of you to consider joining the Vermilion staff. As a staff, we have a rich diversity of strengths and interests. You do not need to be a scholar of aesthetics or an expert on all things poetry to be an essential member of the team. Everyone on the staff writes for the website and participates in the editorial discussions of the submissions, but the daily work of the magazine is divided among three teams: social media, website, and events. We are looking for people who are interested in developing skills ranging from website design through Google Sites to social media publicity and event planning. To join the staff, enroll in ENG 220: Literary Magazine Production I (ENG 220 and 221 also count towards the Writing Minor) for the Fall semester. We look forward to working with you next semester!
